The "Quiet Time" Challenge

In our fast paced and busy world, it can be very easy to make other things a priority over spending time with Jesus. So here's the challenge: Have a "quiet time" everyday for 21 days. Why 21 days you ask? It is said that it takes 21 days to make a habit.

We pray that as a result of completing this challenge, our quiet times will become as much of a daily habit as brushing our teeth. As we learned in chapter 9, it is crucial that we drink in the Living Water everyday in order to stay spiritually healthy. Spiritual dehydration isn't pretty, ladies. The good news is this: "If you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, you have access to the Living Water that will quench your thirst" (p. 149).

To find tips on how to have a quiet time, check out pages 151 and 152 in chapter 9 of Wilderness Skills for Women.

Please comment and share with us what works best for you during your quiet times. We'd love to hear how your quiet time has healed you from spiritual dehydration.
